Synopsis

Over the weekend, we had the incredible opportunity to exhibit at the Makerfare, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The event was bustling with creative energy and enthusiastic makers from all walks of life. We were thrilled to share our passion for making and showcase our dedication to pushing the boundaries of what is possible. The Makerfaire provided a platform for us to connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and inspire others to pursue their own maker journeys.

The sense of camaraderie and the vibrant atmosphere throughout the event were truly invigorating, leaving us with unforgettable memories and renewed motivation to continue our pursuit of innovation.

Our Exhibits

Shotland

The Shotland Demo was a big Success, with 587 Samples and Drinks poured, of which 405 where alcohol-free we broke all previous records.

In addition to its immense popularity and success, the Shotland Demo also fostered a stimulating environment where captivating conversations and valuable input thrived. The productive and thought-provoking discussions held during the event were not only interesting but also incredibly inspiring. The exchange of ideas, diverse perspectives, and constructive feedback further enriched the experience, fueling our passion for innovation and driving us to explore new horizons.

Roboost

The Mecanum wheels of the Roboost robot garnered a significant amount of attention, sparking widespread interest among the attendees. Their unique design and innovative functionality captivated the imaginations of the visitors, resulting in numerous valuable inputs for the upcoming version of the project. The insightful feedback and suggestions received during the event were invaluable in refining and enhancing the future iterations of the project. We are truly grateful for the enthusiasm and engagement of the participants, as their contributions have played a vital role in shaping the evolution of the Roboost robot.

3D and CNC Printer

One of the highlights of the event was the 3D printer that had been ingeniously converted into a CNC mill. This remarkable transformation sparked countless conversations and generated a buzz of excitement among attendees. The innovative adaptation showcased the versatility and creative potential of the technology. Visitors were intrigued by the possibilities and potential applications of such a hybrid machine, leading to engaging discussions and brainstorming sessions. The conversations surrounding the converted 3D printer-turned-CNC mill were rich with curiosity, exploration, and inspiration, as enthusiasts from various backgrounds shared ideas and perspectives on pushing the boundaries of traditional manufacturing methods. It was truly fascinating to witness the collective imagination at work, as the project opened up new avenues for innovation in the maker community.

Special Thanks

Special thanks go to Isi, Verena, and Sammy who helped and spontaneously took over the booth with their enthusiasm and astonishing knowledge about their boyfriends’ and fiancés’ projects.
